Notice of Construction - Base Line - July-Sept 2024

The Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan will be continuing construction activities on Base Line (from Drummond Line to Crowley Line) as of July 29th, 2024 – September 20th, 2024 (approx.).

Project Phase Details:

Some culvert repairs and road pulverization will be taking place over the next few weeks.  Once the pulverizing and culvert works are complete the road will be re-gravelled, graded and then a double surface treatment applied.

Traffic Impact: 

Base Line will be fully closed between Hiawatha Line and Drummond Line on Wednesday, July 31st, and Thursday, August 1st, to complete some road base repairs.

Alternate Routes: 

East/west alternate routes include going south to County Rd 2. From Keene Rd (travelling westbound on Base Line) or Heritage Line or MacGregor Bay (if travelling eastbound on Base Line).
